John and I moved into Richfield Village 15 months ago and it has been one of the best decisions we have made, we came here while we were both fit and healthy and could make all the arrangements and decisions on our own without having to rely on family or assistance, our children’s input into our move was very positive as three out of the four live interstate and are very happy knowing that we are in a safe and secure environment.
We usually travel for three or more months of the year and it’s great to get up and go, knowing that our home will be secure and looked after whilst we are away. This year we have been away for over three months and it was good to come home to the unit, lawns mowed, garden attended to and no maintenance to catch up on, everything was just the way we left it.
Richfield has given us the opportunity to make new friends, enjoy new activities, it’s a whole new way of life, carefree and relaxing, no worries regarding security with on site management and gated entry, also 24 hour medical call

The management and residents have organised a good range of social activities, specialty lunches, dinners, happy hours, mah-jong, scrabble, pool, walking groups plus lots more, there is always someone in the community room, to have a cuppa or chat with.
We feel that the move to Richfield has given us the opportunity to age positively, whilst continuing to pursue our own lifestyle. We look forward to spending many more happy years with new friends.
