Pauline and I have been living in Richfield Village for 14 Months and we are extremely happy with our move into village life.
During the time we have been here we have made new friends and have enjoyed the social activities and get togethers we have.
Pauline is into walking and I am into water aerobics. Pauline has made friends with ladies she walks with, and enjoys walks around the wetlands adjacent to the village. A group of us attend a local aquatic centre just 10 minutes from the centre for water aerobics.
Richfield Village community centre is now under construction and will have an aerobics pool when completed, which will then enable us to carry out our aerobics within the Village.
Pauline & I have always been involved in community activities and in February it was decided to form a residents Committee and I was elected to the position of President. This gives me enjoyment in being involved with the village organisation.
Since we arrived the number of residents has grown threefold and we are having some excellent social activities and visitations such as visiting local clubs for meals, attending the local theatre groups at Frankston and Dandenong, organising dances and other activities in our Community Centre and joining in the putting competition on our putting green. It is great fun attending these places and activities as a group.
Village life is enjoyable and lots of fun, you may pick and choose what activities you wish to participate in or just stay at home and have a BBQ with friends, and family.
Having our friends and family living in country Victoria and interstate we have no need to worry about our home whilst we are away as we know that everything is looked after and secure.
Pauline and I are really looking forward to spending the rest of our life at Richfield Village in the knowledge that it will be a great lifestyle with lots of friends.
